Urne De Jardin

One of two urns

I have had these urns for a very long time. About 12 years to be exact! They came from a new friends shop! Unfortunately gone for many years now, as she rescued herself back to the beauty of Wisconsin where her heart flourishes. I have never put these urns anywhere else! Not long after I got them I decided to paint them. The blue/green was more blue than green, sun can do that! There were also some words written around the base of the urn. I wrote something about love, in French and Italian around the base..all faded after the first year. I happen to love sparkle, so I painted the gold dots. The base of the urns came just a few years ago. I found some new, but classic square urns and flipped them over! I love them! They elevated the urns to new heights! Regal, yet friendly! Of coarse I painted them also! They match the urns, tying the two pieces together. Ya ya ya, I know that there are little slits between the urn and the base. But hey, the water can drain out safely from the plant roots! Ah yes! That's making pink lemonade! Why not have a glass!
