king of the house

the king...

Here is the little prince of our home.  He surely looks regal resting on his thrown,
toped by his crown*.  I think it suits him!  *Caitlin made it for him.
However he runs a tight ship and he does not put up with any funny business...

what are YOU doing!?...

Be careful, he is watching ~

 over looking...

He knows if you are letting things go and are off taking a cat nap.
He likes to wake me up for breakfast... AT 4-4:30 A.M. and no
I do not get up and feed him then, ha I wait until 5:30 A.M.! Yup,
he is the king. I have even climbed over my husband to get out of
bed so as not to disturb him, the cat ~ Hobbes. After having a good
laugh over this  with my Mom, I have not done it since! The real king
of this home is back on the thrown but sometimes Hobbes forgets and
needs to oversee his kingdom:

"his" kingdom

If you go over to my flickr page you can see the notes on the above
photo.
Look closely at the above photo and you can see in the bottom right
hand corner a project I am working on for a client/friend. At the time
of this photo it was in the primer stage. I will show a photo after I
deliver it to Megan... soon :)
We had a very lovely Christmas and New Years Eve here.
Thank you for always checking in on me.  I needed to re-energize and
I do appreciate all of you!!!

I wish you all ~
A Very Prosperous and Healthy New Year!

xo,
Mary

Look at the King Hobbes! Love it and adore his crown. Now that 4:30 wake up call I would not adore!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, do I love this! I do try not to let my cats "own" me...but when my large and heavy kitty plants himself on my chest at about 5 each morning and gives me the
"what? you're not awake yet?!" look...I pretty much have to do his bidding!

Glad that you had a lovely Christmas Mary and now I want to wish you a wonderful 2010.
I adore your Cat with the crown, how sweet. They do have a way of wanting to be the king of the castle.

Hobbes is beautiful, or should I say handsome? I just love the crown. I should make one for my "Princess" Mia. They do tend to rule the roost, don't they?
