I made the mistake of feeding this rascal. I do not know if this kitty cat, is a boy or girl but I believe that if it is a boy it should be nicknamed Colin, after that Gaelic actor, Colin Farrell. dark hair, handsome, somewhat edgy, yet a softer side with playfulness.... like this cat. This cat has rolled around on this section of the patio path, soaking up the comfort and safety. Comfortable and content. A small respite.

If this kitty is a girl, Her name should be Pearl, after Pearl Bailey. I loved seeing her (on t.v.) and hearing her when I was very very young. So very beautiful and funny and talented. What a great combo! This kitty's beautiful jet black fur, playfulness, beauty and charm... and sweet mew. Perfect :)

So this Pearl or Colin will be heading out soon, hopefully soon after which, to a loving home.

What a pretty cat!
How can you refuse a little food to a creature with a cute face like that !! I couldn't either.

Hi Mary,

I just found your blog via My Little Cottage.

That kitty is adorable, and so lucky to be found by you.

I hope you get a chance to stop by my blog and say hello. I'm at Sunbonnet Cottage.

It's nice to meet you.

You did a nice and kind thing. Is it ever wrong to give food to a hungry creature?

I just want to thank you Carla. I am trying to not worry about "Pearl"...we went with Pearl for the name. We hope that she will be adopted very soon. I do know that A.D.O.P.T. used to not let black cats get adopted during October... some people do bad things.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
