A Christmas Wreath and Huge Thank You!

There has been a whirlwind of ribbons, glitter, tulle and Christmas cards swirling around our home for the past several months. Oh yes, and MANY mounted deer heads also via Caitlin's shop!   The holidays always go by too fast for me. I savor each moment, yet it is gone in a twinkling of the eye.

Here is a wreath that I have been working on.

I like the shade of green it has and the soft pink flowers that I made for it. I modeled them after vintage flowers I have seen in antique shops.

Ok all of you!!!! You are all so amazing!!!! Your kind and loving words have filled my well to overflow. Time to get going and give back :) Thank You all so very much for sticking with me during a very low tide in the posting department and all of your sweet words. Not just this week but from the beginning of my blog world. OH MERCI, OH MERCI!!

If anyone has ventured into making The Christmas Light Garland Please let us know so we can all OOOH and Ahhh over it!!! I made mine over several days and then the following year decided I needed more than one layer and bought a LOOOONG lighting string by accident (I did not realize how long it was going to be!) and started wrapping it down my long hallway! Lucky for that long space! Caitlin put hers on a small pink feather tree from Hobby Lobby last year. She only has about 25 lights I think...no more. Now that size gives more instant gratification!!!!

First of all Mary, I would just DIE a happy woman if one of our four daughters was nearly as interested in crafting as I am. LUCKY YOU!! I love the colors in that wreath. Thanks for showing me what that bumpy chenille is for. I'd bought some in pink and aqua (natch) but in over a year I haven't figured out what to do with it! :-)

Oh wow, that is absolutely gorgeous!! I love that color of green, I painted my bedroom walls that color at our last house. You did a great job, I bet that was so much fun to make.
I just found your blog and wanted to say hello. I'll be back for sure.
