A Quick Grill

This morning is exceptionally beautiful! The temp is perfect and no humidity today! I sure hope that this is the case across our fine country. Many barbeques will be happening this weekend! So I rmembered a VERY tastey treat that my friend, Sue, made for me one day last summer.
The Factoids:
Take needed number of ears of corn, husk completely
Place on your heated grill (gas, or coal)
Using tongs, turn corn as it becomes browned (to taste)
Remove from heat once done
Cut a LIME in quarters
Spill out Chilli powder (or any desired seasonings including Indian mixes you like)
Rub the Lime wedges in the spice mix AND then all over your corn.
MMMMM-GOOD!

My friend Sue makes this INSIDE! I think she placed a rack over her burner, raising the corn a bit off the grate. She also makes it as a snack for her kids after school!!! No butter needed!

A Photo of my cabinet in our main hall. I love this cabinet that we all picked out shortly after moving to Chicago. Everyone that comes to visit comes down this main hall and stops to look into the cabinet. We filll it with things we have made for each other as well as found or bought for one another. Caitlin found the Angel and gave it to me for my Birthday one year. The beautiful blue snowfalke was made by Doug. There is also a peicture of me at age 2-3 washing my little dishes on our porch. My youngest sister Nancy looked exactly like me when she was this age!! I also have my collection of half dressed KIDDLES DOLLS. My Dad found and gave me my first one for Christmas one year. It was sold out and the boy doll Biff was the only one left. I did not mind, he came with a wagon! Later he broke his arm so I gave him a cast that of corse he still needs to wear. Have fun trying to look in!

Mmm, mmm, I'm going to try that corn. We have made it on the grill before but it has been in its husk.
