Deux Belles Lampes

Hello! I have caught up somewhat, and still have a nice flow of orders to get out. Thank You all for your support, not just by your orders but in sticking with the blog that has not appeared as often as I would like!

Deux Belles Lampes
These are "Two Beautiful Lamps" that Caitlin found at one of our thrift store haunts. We were in search of supplies for her shop and the Renagade Craft Fair that is comming up September 15th and 16th. It is going to be longer this year..Noon till 10P.M. So it will be dark and they need electricity..which will be available.
So ! Caitlin found these for ONLY $1.20 each!!! Notice the original wiring! Nice, but no cigar! She will be re-wiring them. I love them. I will have to show you may petit collection de lampe! This will have to be done later. These two lamps are mostly plastic...but truly lovely! Maybe she will use them at the Renegade Craft Fair!?

New Find

This is what I found. I went back and forth a million times on wether I should get it or not. I do not need it! I have been going in a different direction for some time now! But I could not leave it behind!!! I still have not done a thing with it! Maybe I will use it in the powder room once that gets painted...next year!

This bowl is not in perfect condition, but that has never been a problem for me.

The entire Chicago Land area had bad weather last night! Even the city has trees down ...on cars : ( some people were trapped in their cars but no one anywhere thru out our area was killed or hurt seriously/critically! The weather was bad here but really and LITERALLY the weather went around us! Rotations were sited just 15 min. west of us and north of us AND south of us!!! I tell you we are lucky! I was at Michaels when Caitlin called to tell me. I was confused for the sun was bright on my drive in and I had forgotten my sunglasses. I let a few people know (the a clerk and a Mom ahead of me in line. I quietly asked if she were going home for there where tornado warnings out for us. Never thought it would get that bad! So all of my Chicago friends..Fox Lake inparticular I hope you are well and DRY!!!
The same goes for all of you!

Those lamps are darling! I see why you couldn't leave the bowl behind and I'm sure you will find a way to use it!

Love your lamps!!
I hope the weather gets better.
Our weather is soo boring. Today we had some fog. WOW!!
I guess it is better than tornados.
Have a great weekend!

Love those lamps! They look like they would make nice candle stick holders if you remove the wiring all together.
