*******L*O*V*E*******

Mothers, our Mother, our Mom, Mums...All meaning LOVE. What an honor to be a Mom. To have those little hands and feet and eyes following you! All day, every day. Then they are teenager hands, was it over night? Still willing to hold your hand, go for a walk. I am blessed to be a Mom and I have been so blessed with Caitlin and Douglas.
We treasure them while they are in our care and pray for their safety when they are out of our sight. Some Mothers will be having one less child at their table this Sunday. I cannot fathom their loss... if I hurt this much for them... My heart and my prayers go out to them.
My own Mother was, and is the most wonderful Mom of all. (Don't we all believe this? Because it is true!) She cared for us and loved us all and we always knew it. We learned appreciation and a good work ethic. We also knew how much She loved our Dad and how much He loved our Mom! The best gifts of all.
When I left home this is how I saw the world because of my Mom:

"I see skies of blue, clouds of white...What a Wonderful World...."

Happy Mother's Day to you! A beautiful tribute to all Mom's. Unfortunately my best friend 6 years ago lost here 16 yr. old son to a drunk driver, the anguish in here eyes breaks my heart. We are more fortunate then we know to have our children, ever on their worst days! Bless you on our day!

Hi Mary, first of all wanted to thank you for your wonderful words about my work.

And yes, a mom is the most precious thing on earth, I lost mine very early and I'm sure that's one of the reasons that keeps making me go back in time with my work.

Love your dinning room, looks so calming! Thanks for the comments you left about my house and my husband on SabbyintheCity blog. He really can do anything!! I didn't realize I said that so much when they were filming! I come up with the ideas and he fabricates them. Feel free to e-mail. Cottagetiques@windstream.net
