AVANT
When we purchased this chandelier we were close to launching our kitchen remodeling project. This included hardwood floors for the kitchen, side hall, and diningroom, and refinishing the front livingroom floor. Loads of dust clouds would be upon us. So we didn't put up the light. Now we are ready to install the light and I find that it no longer fits (perhaps it never did, but the price was right). SO...last night I faux painted it. The most difficult part was deciding a gold leaf look or a silver leaf look. Gold won. The photo does show the detail of layers, but it is there. I am happy.

Sometimes using what you have works out pretty well. Do you have some lemonaid to stir up?
I am excited to be attending a virtual Tea Party over at Artsymama. She is wonderful to be inving us in!

I love how your chandelier turned out! It looks very glamorous...it will look great. Please post a picture of your completed remodel.
Your blog is wonderful, I love the way you put different items in your sweet "statue" girl for pictures. Thanks for sharing her with all of us.
