Love Those Banners!!!

Hello! Sorry that I have not made a post in a number of days. I have been trying to visit your blogs for a longer length than during the Tea Party. In my last post I totally forgot to let you know WHO made the fabulous banner: "HOORAY"! The above photo shows the Lovely and Talented Caitlin!!! My Daughter : ) her blog is (http://www.Nice-etc.blogspot.com) and her etsy shop is (http://www.nice.etsy.com) . The picture was taken at the Renagade Craft Fair last September, in Chicago. There is another Renegade each year also, that one being in Brooklyn, New York. ( My Mom was born in Brooklyn, Michigan!).
I love the banners that she makes. She uses vintage fabrics that she scouts out. She truly has a great eye for design, creating art, and graphic design. Caitlin has also designed and constructed my blog!!! I just ask and she sees what my mind and heart want. It takes a loving heart to design like that! Oh, she also is fantastic at putting great "outfits" (*an archaic term) together. OK, I could go on and on forever about her, so let me tell you about my son! haha. I will save him for another time. The fact is, I am truly truly blessed to be Caitlin and Doug's mom. : ) xoxo, Mary

Hi.I'm so glad you let us all know about the banners as I was going to ask about them the other day but got busy.I don't really know how to sew or anything & i just started my own blog and now have an obsession visiting beautiful blogs like yours.I love your house...your tea party set up was so lovely...my girls and I love things like that...my girls are ages 12,10 & 8 & we love having our little tea parties & it sounds like even though your daughter is older, you still have lots of fun with her. Also, where did you get the table from,is it meant to be a coffee table b/c it's so lovely..I told my husband I want one just like it. :)Well, thanks for letting us share in your fun life. :)

Your love for your children is very evident. They are very lucky to have you for a mom. Your daughter is beautiful and she makes fabulous banners! I don't live far from Brooklyn - only about 90 minutes or so - I'm going to have to check out this Renegade Craft Fair! I'm eagerly awaiting my wreath!

Thanks for stopping by. Yes I do feel better. We also did get together. I worked on an Easter box for my granddaughter. You're always so kind! By the way, I agree your daughter has a lovey eye for making the banners!

Hi Mary,
Thanks for the great comments you left.I'm actually in Canton,so I know where you are from...what a small world, huh?Anyways,I really haven't seen Plymouth,we just go to the library but the downtown looks amazing...we're going visit my daughter's 4th grade teacher after school that lives in Plymouth & I'll have to ask her if she knows of any thrift/antique shops(she has the same taste as us..little house on the prairie, mary engrelbreit,etc)....maybe I can find a few goodies before we move...if I have missed out on too many good places there I will just have to scream since we are so close to Plymouth. :)I just didn't have any direction & I've only gone there this past winter so it's been too cold to just walk around hoping to find something.I am hoping to have our own little online tea party after we move...I've already found a beautiful cake pedastal with a dome that has flowers & butterflies on it,so I'm hoping I get a lot of visitors...my girls would be so excited.Anyways, thanks for visiting my blog...I'm hoping mine will be better one day...seems I have so much to learn...my middle daughter is good at computer stuff, she'll probably help me figure something out.I'm just good at looking at blogs, not creating those works of art like your blog is...I really thought you were in France when I saw your blog. :)
