how lucky are we?? A Tea Party and a Potluck Dinner! Our Potluck host is Phyllis and you can go directly to her potluck Here !
It is a very Blustery Day outside here! However WE are in Blogland and it is a warm, sunny day, with a very gentle warm breeze (all potlucks I remember were warm..perhaps because I was a child and was having fun with friends). So I am providing a very pleasant atmospher for Phyllis' Wonderfully Fun Potluck Dinner No surprise wind gusts here today!
This, for me, has always been a fovorite bonus for going to a potluck...This delightful salad creation does not always show up at every potluck. I love it when it does! So my gift to all of you is this recipe! If you click on the image of the salad, then click on "all sizes" it will be large enough to read the recipe!! : ) HOWEVER, If any of you delightful chefs know of another recipe for this salad could you please let me know!!! I have never, that's right, never made it!!! Not yet! I just recently found it, clipped it out and stuck in the folder. I hope to make it, if not this weekend, then this summer. You must have alot of guests to share this with!!
ENJOY!

Mary,
This sounds fabulous. Is that your backyard?! Hope you can visit me in CT as well. By the way, thank you so very very much for your very kind and thoughtful e-mail. It made me tear up! I haven't had a chance to respond to you yet but I wanted you to know I truly appreciated it and you made my day.

I'm sorry,I don't have another recipe for this, but you are right it is a big hit at every get together.
I know your busy working, don't worry, I'll load the dishwasher as guests leave...you do have a dishwasher right? ha ha

This is so fun. I am loving all of these beautiful blogs. I love Watergate salad, though I didn't know that was what it was called. We call it pistachio fluff.
Gorgeous!!!!
I have totally enjoyed my visit here...so beautiful and the salad went so well with the rest of the menu :)

Fun salad! I didn't know that was the name! Looks so pretty in the dish! Thank you for sharing!
This looks delicious. I was asked last Thanksgiving to contribute and Ambrosia salad to the meal and didn't have a recipe. I found one online, but this one sounds even better. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe! Hasn't Phyllis done a marvelous job of setting the table at Shabby in the city. Everything looks beautiful! I've brought Sweet Spring Apple Blossoms for the dessert buffet.
Best wishes!
Wow wee you beautiful! I can just feel the warm breeze.

THIS is my families favorite summer salad!!! I add mandarin oranges and maraschino cherries to mine and omit the coconut because my silly daughters won't eat coconut!!
