Come for Tea!

P3200003

HELLO , HELLO! I am so glad that you could come, I've been looking forward to our tea!

P3200005

Pour vous, some tea!!

These flowers smell so fresh. The white Hyacinth I replant outside. I was amazed at how well they come back the following spring.
P3200009
Yum, Pepperidge Farm Cookies. My children and I would have tea parties together every so often. These cookies were THE TREAT! For our "tea" we would have apple juice and later hot cocoa.

I improvised this cupcake recipe of Giada De Laurentis', of Everyday Italian. I used a box cake recipe! Yes, I did, but it is very good. They were out of Heavy Cream so I used what I had... Redi Whip! It all saved time. I do recommend whipping up your own whipped cream. You will end up with a better flavor.
More tea?

I am so glad that we all could get together for tea. I do appreciate the time we have all spent sharing a part of our day, And I say....
THREE CHEERS FOR KARI!!!
HIP HIP HOORAY,
HIP HIP HOORAY,
HIP HIP HOORAY!!!

Oh my gosh those hyacints are gorgeous, then the yummy tea cakes and such a pretty tea setting.

My little broken tea pot was found in the rafters when workers were replacing the roof. It was so funny to see this big burly man cradeling the tiny tea cup when it brought it to me.

You have a beautiful home.Wonderful light to have tea by. I agree, your tea party and room look like it came straight from a magazine! I can just see myself sitting there :D Thank you for the lovely compliment! I did make the invitation. It's one of those things I like to do. Your sweet to have asked.

What a peaceful light space. I hope I don't spill on all that white! I'm not a frosting kinda gal, so your rasberry topped cupcakes look scrumptious. Thanks for letting us all stop by for a cuppa.

Oh, it all looks so lovely! I especially like the bird tags..... and where did you get that adorable glittery lamb? :)

Hello Mary! I just wanted to let you know about the tea set you are inquiring about. It is a vintage RS Germany. Maybe if you search Ebay or Google for RS Germany or RS Prussia you may find one similar. They can be very pricey but I only paid 40.00 for mine if you can believe that!! It is from Germany and I know they are still making some very pretty similar styles today.

I looked for an email link on your blog but didn't see one so I hope you don't mind my message here!

I just love your blog and would love to add you to my favorites if that is ok!

What, not catnip tea for the kitties? What's a tea party without a kitten or two purring at the thought of cream.

Oh, love the nest! I have left my 9 year nest, and we are now in the process of making a new one. I am inspired. I looooove white and wood. Can I copy and save the pic. of your living room to print and show my hubby? I will promise never to use it for any reason other reason than a shopping list at a later date(I recycle paper). kasse
